So tasty!

Amazing product! Love the ingredients and it’s very smooth and not grainy. Tastes amazing!

My favourite protein!

Not only do I love the flavour, but it's also the perfect texture. Mixes easily with just water, never clumpy like other proteins I've tried.

Misleading but good enough

I bought this mint chocolate protein powder and the chocolate protein powder after reading the ingredients on the website here that have no mention of cacao or cocoa being an ingredient. I was surprised about this being a possibility but wanted to give it a shot, thinking they've figured out a way to create a chocolatey flavour without any chocolate being present. I've been trying to cut down on chocolate a lot since its been a long standing addiction for me and wanted to be eating chocolate-free snacks before bed to ensure I get good sleeps. So i bought it, then i found out in the news that there was a recent finding indicating that most cacao/cocoa products are somehow high in lead depending on where they're sourced and how the beans are prepared. So since then, i've been reallyy trying to cut down. I must have already done a lot of damage to my body and brain by eating chocolate regularly thinking it's healthy as well as a treat, when in reality, it should just be treated as a treat lol. I just got around to trying the mint chocolate, as i've been getting through the vanilla flavour (it's been really nice!) and was finally ready for a change. I read the package, to find cocoa on the top of the non-medicinal ingredients category. I don't know where it stands in terms of the proportion of it in the full recipe as usually ingredients are listed by highest proportions first but this category is separate from the others so its unclear. It seems pretty chocolatey so i'm guessing its one of the majority ingredients. The flavour and texture is nice but also not something i would want to eat every day. I've found it more satisfying to eat as a snack in a concentrated form by pouring 1/4-1cup of water or plant milk over 1/4-1/2 of a scoop and mixing it together or doing that but adding in chia seeds to turn it into a thick pudding for example (maybe could try doing it with collagen gelatin powder as well), rather than as a smoothie. i opened the chocolate protein powder to see if i could balance out the intense minty flavour and found that the chocolate powder on its own is a bit bland so by using almost a full scoop of the chocolate, and sprinkling a bit of the mint choc i get my desired taste. the best way to prep it is 125ml room temp water, almost full scoop of chocolate protein powder, sprinkle a bit of the choc mint powder, blend, add 7 small-medium ice cubes, blend, add 25ml more room temp water, 85-90ml of unsweetened unflavoured oat milk for a more chocolatey and minty consistency or 125ml of oat milk for a more chocolate milk consistency with a minty aftertaste, blend, mix well with spoon if ice is clumping, then blend again. I'm going to see what other fun recipes i come up with and if i discover any, i'll edit my review. i would listen to the serving size to avoid any health issues because vitamin overdose is a thing. 1 scoop especially of the chocolate varieties should be someone's maximum daily consumption. I must say its pretty fun to relive my childhood in a healthier way. I used to eat mint aeros and I haven't touched them in so many years once realizing how unhealthy they are

Update: Why is this review where i'm not giving 5 stars not from a verified account but all my other reviews that give 5 stars are verified?
